During my Easter holidays I had the time to watch 3 different movie for inspiration.
Although the script and storyboard were already done I felt I wasn't satisfied just yet, so I kept studying different elements and media forms in different productions. I set out to look for more ideas and inspirations. this time for the production and pre-production stage.
here are the movies I selected to watch:
what inspired me the most about it: effects, basic editing skills, types of shots, narrative structure, Colour correction. This movie is an amazing UK Production. Specially for people who like confusing psychological storeys, horror or Art house films.
what inspired me the most about it: it's technical use, it's row footage and documentary structure.
when the movie first started I thought I was watching a low budget production but then I soon realized that the result to what made it look like that was intentional. due to it's realism and how the documentary trensforms to a story. It hocks you to the scream an makes you want to keep on watching. infect because it is so real that individuals may start to question if it's all an act or real.
what inspired me the most about it: it's experimental editing techniques
in the introduction, it's use of Camera works, it's beautiful shots, and it's colour correction.
this movie is bast on a true story and as he was jumped a bolder fell on his hand trapping him between the walls of the the desert as his hand is stuck between the bolder and the wall. The only way to save himself after being there for 127 hours was to cut of his hand to free him self free.
This movies is a most to watch! in two worlds, I can say it's amazing!
