Conventional elements:

Some might argue that the narrative structure of the video does not explain or match up with the song itself. Although when truly looking at all the detail of the space arc, the descending into Space and the technical breakdown of the ship, it could all all represent a meaning from the song. E.g. the video could present the fear of being away from home, trying to find the answer an individual is looking for. Also Chester being alone in some parts of the video could present loneliness or emptiness, the confusion of life and that he doesn't know what's going to be left of him when he is gone. Meaning; does not know what will be truly left of him when he has passed away. The ship descending could also symbolise the journey throughout out their life. 

Narrative structure:

Liner/ non-liner; because the story is always building up to something and at times it takes you back to what he was thinking or reflecting on.

The aim of the music video is to gain international success therefore its audience are people of different cultures and styles.
